Or, "Why does everything in my life *have* to be a story"???

Thanks to ravenslost, I was able to attend the preview for "Serenity" last night. This post isn't about that. Well, it mostly isn't. At least, it isn't about the movie, it is more about my experience around seeing the movie. The most I will mention about the movie is that I saw it. And really ( Read more... )

Often they leave the very front row of a screening empty to guarantee that the theatre is meeting the fire code about how many seats are allowed to be full in the theatre. (The number of seats is not always the number of patrons the fire code allows. The theatre will often put in extra seats in case some break, handicap patrons need extra space, etc.)

Ah the things working for Landmark will teach you. ;)

I admit it. I love Jayne. He makes me really really happy. Now I need to go investigate your icons. (You wouldn't happen to know where I could get oen with Mal and the "I aim to misbehave" caption would you?)

I'm so glad I had a chance to see you there and get Tifihugs! I apologize for having to rush off after the movie, but Gwynnie had a major headache and we weren't able to find you guys (now I understand why!).

I'm sorry you two had such an ordeal with seeing the movie... but wasn't it good?!

It was fab and I loved it. Yeah, there were some downsides, but hey, posters and t-shirts!

I am sorry that Gwynnie ended up with such a headache. We will just have to get together for dinner another evening :)

I too saw it through the blogger bonanza at Saratoga 14. It was not nearly such a bad experience there.

Also, to make you feel better, you are not the only person I know who left her car running while elsewhere. At one point a co-worker, our boss and I all went out for lunch. Talk was animated, as it often is with me. We got out of the car, had lunch and on the way back my co-worker remarked that she couldn't find her keys. Looked in the car. Sure enough, in there, doors unlocked, engine running.

We gave her no end of crap for that.

Also and PS... Long time no chat. Give me a call sometime.

Glad to hear that yours was better than mine!

I am sure that I am going to get no end of crap for leaving the car running with the keys in it (and it had to be Peter's car too!... Then again, that wouldn't work with my car.)

I would love to give you a call - and while I did get a message from you, I have managed to still lose your phone number. Would you drop me a line with it?
