Well my friends, I am drunk in Brooklyn. Spent some time at barcade & currently hanging out at Union Pool. NYC is pretty f'n amazing. -
sleepy but excited
been packing the suitcase for the first time since july and this time, rather than the typical iowa trip, NYC is the destination! so excited! we have tickets for the MoMA with our Tim Burton exhibit time set up for 10:30 on friday. the only other timed item that is a must is going to a stand up comedy thing to see Wyatt Cenac from The Daily Show ( Read more... ) -

NYC!
we decided to book a trip to NYC over squire's b-day next month, feb 18 to 21. we got an amazing deal on flight & hotel for 4 days/3 nights and can't wait. i've never been but squire loves it and so it works out to be a nice b-day present for him ( Read more... ) -
derailed
i ran twice last week. i had the weekend off but we were super busy saturday with the guys from The Story Changes staying with us and two shows to attend that night and sunday, we were plain wiped out. i had plans to run but the couch sucked us both in and we basically didn't leave it all day with the exception of getting some food together ( Read more... ) -
running
today, i ran/walked a little over a mile. i am not a runner. i am out of shape. i have been to the gym once in the last two or three months. per julie's advice, i am going to start the couch to 5k via cool running's website. couch indeed. i kind of hate it but am kind of amazed that a mile is so much shorter than it seems. -
