i mean, it's sad that matt let a girl die but it's still ridiculously adorable that he saved jake because jake's special.
i thought you told me earlier that jake was one of the more rare...not the most common?
i'm not sure i buy that the babies don't survive the night. if the GN can have middlemen bring them supplies why can't they have middlemen around to make sure their kid gets safely to a hospital?
please keep going, this story is fascinating and each chapter is just getting better and better.
