Have a friend who offered me somewhere to go years ago but I didn't have a way or the means to get out there. I wound up getting one more check from Sprint I didn't expect, and finding some really good cheap airfare, and opportunities look promising out there.

not a problem at all. my number is 206-356-6914. call me when/if you get in. i can't offer a place to stay, but i know the job market out here like a pro (having done HR for years now) and i have to put those 4 years of culinary school to use somehow.
