Ah... it is on, yes? Good.

[Sorry, everyone who was trying to travel through one of the grassy dead-ends on Route 29. To interrupt your regularly scheduled exploration times is... a miniature sandstorm. Several disgruntled wild Pokemon are sitting on the outside edge, occasionally throwing themselves in.

The video is coming from the inside, oddly ( Read more... )

[He seems faintly amused by the situation.]

Have you tried ordering him to stop?

[Nelliel, on the other hand, isn't.]

That was the first thing I tried. He did not seem to hear me.

The thing about these creatures is that they're just like pets. You need to be able to show them that you're the boss. If you lack that drive, then they won't listen to you. And if that happens, they could end up hurting you and anyone around you. Which looks like the situation you're in right now.

[....Her expression is effectively "stop making sense damn you"]

I met him scarcely days ago. I doubt that would be adequate time.

What's with this place and sand...

Try throwing him some food or something.

[ Kobato's on the outside, where the wild pokemon can't see her - or let's say they've given up, looking at the sandstorm in awe and fright. Growlithe, beside her, barks happily, loudly. ]

Sa-Sandstorm??

[The other pokemon probably have learned that throwing oneself at a giant raging ball of sand doesn't work too well.

Nelliel's still camped inside, trying to calm her pokemon down with words. She'd be quite happy to brave the storm, if she had her powers, as she'd been living in a desert for ages. Alas, no iron skin so yeah.]

Hello? Is anyone in there?

Y-Yes. I am.

[Ok, so the storm dulls it, but Nel lived in a desert. She can project her voice \o/]

((ooc: If you want to join in, me and Rose/Clair-mun are doing a log for helping Nel?

Perhaps your Pokemon needs reassurance. You may need to wait for it to subside before you can reach him. Endure it.

I suppose it is lucky I live in a desert, then.

[Sarcasm, while rare, can still be used effectively.]

[Flonne knows the answer to this so well she might as well be raising her hand.]

You have to treat it with love! It won't listen to you otherwise.

[....Right. Lady who up until several days ago was a spirit of collectively fallen souls. Pure heart.

This is going to be fun.]

Kind, I think I can manage...
