Just something humorous about this: I just agree with something Carlos Mencia said. If Barrack Obama got elected you can't use the "Race Card" anymore. :-p

We did that too, here in California, because we are all a bunch of assholes. Or at least, slightly more than half of us are a bunch of assholes.

The reason the constitution had to be amended -- at least, here in CA -- is that, and I shit you not, the law they passed a couple years ago was struck down as unconstitutional. SO THEY AMENDED THE DAMN CONSTITUTION!

There are people who are trying to get it repealed because it contradicts other naive language in the constitution about (McCain fingerquotes) "equality".

If nothing else, I'm sure an initiative to take the amendment back out will show up in two years. Sigh. At least we stopped the abortion notification bullshit and voted to put in high speed rail.
