I'm planning on it. This week has been really, really hectic, because I'm trying to prepare for our going out of business sale and for Script Frenzy all at the same time. I'm planning on working up some resumes this weekend and trotting them out next week.
I know what it's like to have a place that you love to work at close up on you. I had a heck of a time trying to adjust to working somewhere else after the bookstore closed.
At least you can say that you didn't quit the job, the job quit you.
BTW: What's her asking price for the business? Just curious?
I don't know what her asking price is. Probably pretty high. I wouldn't recommend anyone who didn't have a large disposable income buy it, though, because the owner has burned a lot of bridges with people in the community, and there's another yarn store operating a block away. It'd have to be a labor of love.
If it had a good chance of being profitable, I'd be buying it. But I really think it doesn't.
I don't expect to be unemployed for long. I don't live an expensive lifestyle, so I don't have to get something super high paying, and I have a lot in my favor. I've got a couple of really good prospects going.
