Of course they put in a random romance. It wouldn't be Hollywood if they didn't :P

Like, when Kirk sacrifices everything to help Spock, or Spock sacrifices everything to save the ship, or you see them singing a round of "row row row your boat" (I couldn't help laughing), or they get slingshoted to the past and have to save McCoy from madness, or Spock and McCoy trade veiled insults while they fight off enemies back to back... Jesus, it's wonderful.
And it's better when they're on the bridge, with Uhura at the Communications post, and Sulu and Chekov are at the helm, Spock and McCoy standing behind Capt. Kirk at his seat, and they go where no one has ever gone before... =D Damn.

You like Chekov? xD He and Sulu are supposed to be best buddies but I suppose they haven't gotten around to showing that yet. The actor is really young; he's like, 18.
I CAN'T WAIT for the sequel. You have no idea how hyped I am about these actors. I watched a few interviews with Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine in them and they're really good together; they have really good chemistry and that's wonderful, because I was so scared that they wouldn't have that but they do, just like Nimoy and Shatner (I hate to say this, but I adore these actors. Nimoy is just really awesome, and Shatner... hahaha. Shatner is like a force of nature).
Is this really the first time you've fallen in love with the characters? >> You've never had characters you really liked before this?!
