:) Marriage isn't completely dead, but it is dying, struggling with infected wounds that need to be cleaned and stitched. I believe the cause is selfishness, as people choose to care about themselves more then the happiness of their partners and children. And it's hurting generations of children, creating cynics like you, as you said. :(

It can be fixed! Individually, at least. As families, together, deciding to live with loyality and commitment to each other.
Believing in God and that he will help helps too. :)

You MUST be joking.

There's no way that Gay Marriage will offend the world order, anyone's personal social space, or much of anyplace else. Eeegads! Thank goodness the rights extended to those good NORMAL heterosexual couples will not be extended to those WICKED buggery-loving homosexuals.

Good that we choose not to recognize happy, functional, healthy relationships in order to protect the sanctity of all heterosexual relationships, abusive, dysfunctional, gold-mining, or otherwise. God has triumphed and the world will one day be cleansed in the millenarian fervor we've all been waiting for. Huzzah!
