I am so tempted to buy a paid account. I haven't had one in years, and for good reasons too. I don't update that often, can think of better things to spend the money on, have little desire to make voice posts etc... but... I wants the iconss, preciousss

I transferred to Orange Pay-as-you-go from T-Mobile at Christmas and I have to say that as far as to their Pay-as-you-go deals are concerned, I think Orange are probably the best. Like you said, you get Orange Wednesdays and if I just top up £10 a month you get 300 free texts and free phone internet for a month (neither of which I ever come remotely close to using up), and there are other deals if you prefer to use your phone to call people etc.

That's exactly what I need in a pay-as-you-go deal. 300 texts would be quite enough for me I think. Just need to work up the energy to ring them and deal with their ultra-keen sales assistants who want me to continue paying £50/month on my phone contract!

P.S. love your Vicar of Dibley icons! I was watching repeats of that show just the other day. So. Funny. (Definitely want a paid account now...)

I've never paid more than £25... when I phoned to leave 3 (requested my PAC code to change networks) they offered me something ridiculous like 300 mins, unlimited texts and internet for £10 sim only - but I turned it down so I can be on a network that does the iphone (sneaky move to try and get a discount in a few months when I am a loyal customer). If you ask to leave they start offering crazy things :-)
