I am amazed at how much it can rain in Manchester. It doesn't just rain - it pours. The water droplets throw themselves from the sky with such force I am quite breathless even when indoors. Earlier today I was outside, worse luck, so got soaked. I was buying some food from Tesco and Worldwide, and was planning to return to uni for some more

Yay for the destruction of the maths tower :D you may think your drama building is ugly but believe me it has nothing on the maths tower. And the lift always broke when you were in it :|

I never knew it when it was intact, but I read in one of the uni magazines that it was becoming something of an eyesore. Shame, it was a pinacle of hope and progress when it was built in the 60s and now everyone hates it!

It needed it really, I guess it would have looked really really good when it was first finished, but by now it was just seedy and grubby looking. Shame huh?
