Does anyone have experiences of hydroxyzine for anxiety?

My GP prescribed it yesterday, I took it last night and couldn't decide whether it made me feel drunk or like I'd overdosed :s

Why did they give you that instead of a Benzo? Doesn't look like it is used for anxiety that often. x

No idea, but I wasn't going to argue as when I've asked before they've just said they won't give me anything.
