I can't remember if I actually posted it as prompt on a kinkmeme or not. I think I did. Or something with the same situation. But sometimes I spend several minutes typing into the comment box and then don't

Stuff: Is Loki technically Harry's first born?
Creepy image of if Harry failed in Changes, suddenly Loki's heart ripping out of his chest in Asgard, while in court.
Technically, fostering someone is a...hit on honor or something. Lessers do it for you.
I just, Loki and Harry cuddling. And Mab being all, yissss, Starchild baby ice child, mmm.
I love the barb thrown at Odin for not raising Loki properly.

Loki would technically be first born, because of timey-whimey-ness. And Harry was totes giving back-handed apologies and compliments to Odin. He just doesn't know how to be respectful of beings that could wipe him out with a gesture. And Odin had the option of either agreeing that he knowingly fostered the child of the Winter Knight as a favor, or is an incompetent child-theif of the highest order. Harry got many pointers from his fae friends. And Mab.
They do lots of cuddling. With little Mags in the middle. Comfort cuddling because no one touches Harry's babies. It was Loki's attack on Earth that alerted Harry/Mab that Loki was alive and Harry's.
And once everyone is all settled in at Demonreach, the Guard have got a new 'Za Prince'.

So, people look down on Loki for his magic, yet magic is wildly used.
What if they were looking down on Loki because he would not use his magic to directly murder people with it.
Loki never had a soul gaze, Aesir are souless? Have natures (partially split resulting in Donnar/Odin coexisting?) which it is why it only took Thor 3 days to become worthy--it's in his nature. Less 'damaged' than Lea, so faster, less horrific repairs than being frozen in ice.
Jotnar have souls? That's why Loki went off the deepend after killing Laufey?

And I love the idea of Asgard being an outpost on the Wall of Winterfell of the Outer Gates.
I can see Laufey Time traveling, if only because the Fae and other non-mortals have the potential to live so long they would be able to see/manipulate their own timelines to an extent, and then he'd be all 'Yeah, pick the kid up tomorrow being tomorrow for me, which will be 1000 years ago for youAnd... I had a thought. What if Jord wasn't a Giant but a really tall Nordic Woman, leaving Thor as a Changling that chose Fae-hood? And so Thor has remnants of his soul, or remembers what it was like to have one, vaguely, and so gets uncomfortable phantom-feels about Loki... which is why he can be all 'BROTHER' one second and 'Lols! You getting punished!' the next ( ... )
