Oh, I am so excited! I'm surprised to learn that Pokemon is well known in Earth Bet since other Worm/Pokemon fics make it so that Pokemon doesn't exist on Earth Bet. Either way, this is great!

Kukuku. Very happy you are enjoying this! I can't speak for other fanfics, but this one takes place in a significantly AU timeline such that in-story they are 'Earth Beta' and 'Earth Alpha'. Eden was the survivor, not Scion, and she doesn't do the whole mope and constantly save people thing. I was going to make a note about timelines but it was getting too long. Check author notes for next chapter!
