Stupid Loki being Stupid and getting himself caught and experimented on by someone other than DOOM. Obviously, he needs to be kept in a box for his own good.

Clearly. He will put Loki in a nice comfy temperature controlled box for recovery, lots of silk and pillows, and of course no clothes so as to better monitor his recovery. So sayeth DOOM.
