To Do: Fic Question

I've been tossing around a fic idea in my head which would be a Thor/Pokemon crossover.  Loki falls through a hole in reality, lands in the Kanto region, and gets attacked by Articuno.  Loki, who impresses Artie with his combat skills and 'adaptive' evolution, discovers that he isn't the first creature to fall through the void/portal and land in

Pokemon was my childhood by osmosis, and one of the few video games I ever actually completed (the others being Septerra Core, Bad Mojo, and Dokapon Kingdom) so it holds a special place in my heart. Thank you for the encouragement! I'm just enamored with the idea of feral!Loki running around in blue and a loincloth, surrounded by lots of cute little pocket monsters like some kind of monster nanny.

I'm agreeing with the first comment about the i'll read it if you'll write it.

I've played the first three gens of pokemon at most and watched the cartoon up to Johto so I've been thinking hard about what pokemon Loki would take as his mentee but I can't think up a good one. Psyduck? It'll probably be like training a dizzy Thor though haha

I've played red and blue, a little of gold and pearl, but it's been a while so I've been Youtubing old episodes. The Johto region is right next to Kanto -where Ash is from and the first two seasons take place- so there could be some species cross pollination. Murkrow, maybe? But Cubone can throw his bone, and use it like a hammer so ~~ feels. But Thor doesn't wear Frigga's skull on his head, so they are okay on that front.

It's funny. I don't particularly read much pokefic -there was this one, but it got to be 100+ chapters and I just couldn't keep up- but the crossovers are usually pretty entertaining. I recently restumbled across a Ranma/Pokemon fic and it was like nostaaaaalgia. Want. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I'm debating if Evee should stay Evee or evolve into something else. Glaceon? They'll be in the mountains and cold...

Okay, I've decided, Loki will have a Cubone (Bones), an Evee (Skaldi), a Farfetched (Fandral, but everyone calls him Fanny), a Houndoom (Skoll) and a BFF Gastly who just hangs out and gets reffered to as 'Spirit' or 'Ghost'.

And Loki's going to reinvent the Pokeball with the Apricorns and have a small herd of Mareep which he will uses to make electric-resistant cloth.

Now I just need to find time and will power to write...

God I am so behind on the Poke things.

Loki would have psy and ghost pokemon, or ones with such associations (and trickery ones). he'd also probably favour ones with weird /opposite elemental compositions. Of course, most of his Pokemon will be highly trained local pokemon, with WTF moves that he taught them.

*thinks* oh, huh. Since he finds an evee, there will be more of them, with careful management he could fill in some of his missing elements via their evolutions. Mostly Glacieons, but Umbreon and and Espeon are day/night friendship evolutions.

He might have a Gradyos, evolved from a Magikarp that was jumping over a mountain using flail and bounce.

Because he doesn't use pokeballs for the most part his line up would change depending on where you ran into him. And after he runs away you might find your food missing. Or your elemental stones.
