credit card fraud

as i was standing in the kitchen with daniel tonight i noticed the phone was showing a message, which is odd for our house phone because no one ever calls it. we had a message from usaa's credit card fraud line, alerting us to possible fraudulent charges on our account (they didn't specify which of our two usaa accounts), with a 24 hour phone ( Read more... )

nice that they alerted you....however how can you spend that much at kfc? lol

USAA is pretty good about it - my mom's # got stolen once, and uses showed up in AK and somewhere in Asia - Thailand, maybe? Over $2000, all told. They alerted her, and she wasn't responsible either.

Discover is apparently pretty good, too. My parents once did all their christmas shopping in one morning...and Discover called to check almost immediately after they got home, to make sure they really meant to spend at that many stores in that short a time frame!
