eeeeeee - no he's not eager at all.

He's going to get razzed something wicked on Monday about 'you hiding a woman away' and so forth, isn't he?

Yeah, he's impatient but he has no idea what he's getting into.

And oh, I imagine the teasing is going to be fierce. He's never done something like this before.

Glad you liked it.

I liked this glimpse into Nick's mind - that meeting up with "Shorty" has a higher priority for him than post-morteming the game. He's not going to completely miss meeting up with Quinn, now, is he? :-)

Still loving these characters as they become more well-defined. I look forward to seeing more as they emerge further.

Oh you never know with me, now do you?

We'll see how much more emerging they do before I leave for the road trip from hell tomorrow. May post one more part this evening, but then it'll be silent for the weekend I suspect.

*boing, boing* (*Stanley bounces around some more in glee*)

This is a side to Nick we've not seen before. I like it. Glad he's so excited to see 'Shorty.' Though, heh. Doubt that's a nickname Quinn would like.

I swear, you & garnet_scribble keep up all this fantastic writing, I'll have no time to be distraught over my unemployed state. So, thank you.

Yeah, I'm thinking if Quinn ever finds out about that nickname he's going to be more than a little ticked. But in Nick's defense, at this point he doesn't know what Quinn's name is.

Awww, sweetie, I don't want you to be distraught. I want you employed and happy. Or at least happy. As always, safe haven available if you need it.
