I just came home to find a huge rat dead on my doorstep! I went to get a plastic bag and pick it up and put it in the rubbish bin. At that point I realised there are worse things than finding a dead rat at your door - finding a mostly dead rat at your door. It was still moving! Ew ew ew ew ew! About then I stopped being self sufficient and turned

Yeah he was pretty disappointed that he didn't get to. There was much tugging on the lead to try and go investigate when we got home and then much whining at the door to try and get out to go investigate when I did get him inside.
