many people on my lj flist have left, are leaving or are considering leaving the TH fandom, may i ask why did you decide this or are considering this? btw, i have sorta but not really lost my interest in them, haizzz...
i know exactly what you mean! it was autotuned to death!! lol. i thought i was the only 1 who immensely disliked the new album when it first came out. occasionally i do listen to their older trabendo & acoustic stuff tho!
Guess you're not the only one. :D The main thing for me was (although I kinda lost interest in the band before), so many of my favorite bands released new music around the same time back then, and TH was the only one that released an album that I just couldn't listen to. :x And I'm generally happy not to be part of this fandom anymore. Don't need the headache.
I've left the fandom, but I still like the band. I just have no patience for the bullshit in the fandom anymore. I honestly do miss the days of being able to just relax and enjoy things in the fandom, but I simply find that I can't enjoy it anymore with all the wank and all the extremely unpleasant people in the fandom. Even viciously slicing my flist down to just a few people hasn't improved the situation, because I still see a lot of the wank and bitching and complaints even with my flist shortened considerably.
As well, she-who-shall-not-be-named really destroyed my enjoyment in LJ fandom altogether because I feel like I can no longer be as open and welcoming as I once was for fear of being stalked and harassed again. :/
yeah the earlier days were good! especially among the eng-speaking fans who were relatively drama free *ahem*. as the band became more popular, the standard of fics dropped drastically, the fans' manners disappeared & the nasties came. :(

i just felt that there was a huggge influx of bitchy fans that had to outcrass each other whenever they were commenting on picts & stuff related to the band.
it's not fun anymore. i grew out of liking the band because they're now boring on top of fake, and i started hating the fandom because it's mostly composed of whiny, malicious women who are in serious need of a reality check.
also, the fics are pretty much all crap compared to the other fandoms i frequent so... there's nothing keeping me in th.
huh yes, i get the fake thing, it really confuzzles me because i'm wondering, are they staying true to themselves cos bill was always OTT to begin with or are they being influenced by godknowswhat. but isn't influence part of growing up etc. haizzz but this is mainly fashion & music related, lol.

yesss i do check up on some authors once in a blue mooon but most of my favourites have left *AHEM!!!!*, can't blame you guys really. LOL. plus i do have my kpop bandfics & harry potter so...not Really much of a loss.
but actually, the reason you took yr fics down...was it cos you weren't pleased with the writing or did something actually happen? :S
