Silly pet hate: when someone is writing in the different ways of speaking "tomato", and spells the way they pronounce it "tomato". It shouldn't be "tomato, tamahto", it should be "tomaeto, tomahto", if only so it doesn't read more like "tomato, tomato" to me.

My father's computer died yesterday.
