Dear LiveJournal,

Wow, your little windows about "Did You Know This?" are really, really annoying. Just for the record: I have not considered making a voice-post and "sharing [my] melodious voice with LiveJournal readers" (if you really think my voice is even remotely melodious you obviously haven't heard me actually speak/attempt to sing)

I just told them not to bring up any of them again and they got all passive aggressive and said "Wow-sorry. Apparently you know everything".

I just got passive aggressive and wrote an open letter instead ;) Really, it's things like this that makes me agree with the most bitter of the ads at lj_ads. It's just... what's the point? And WTF is with the response if you tell them not to annoy you give you any more "suggestions"?

If you're serious :) While those suggestions are fantastic if you're a New User, if you're a long-term LJer? Chances are you already know this stuff. And then with the response if you tell them not to tell you any of this again? It's just... really weird, annoying, and kinda rude.
