Alan: I just thought it was great because it looked like Peter Jackson had actually flown there in the suit.
Wil: To be honest, it didn't look like he'd flown there on a plane; it looked like he'd flown there on a giant eagle with Gandalf.

And, uhm, also, yes. I watch GH religiously each Friday, cos I'm always home on Bribie. And if I was here, I'd still be watching it, cos we have a TV! And we even have the ABC! Yaaaaaaaaaay! However, no SBS, so I can't spend my Monday nights freaking out the roomies with QaF. *sighs* So very, very sad.

*giggles* Oh my god, why doesn't this show air in North America?

Reply

purple_smurf March 14 2004, 01:46:13 UTC
Because 90% of it is Australian politics and poking fun at America? Plus, it's on the ABC, has no budget, and the people who appear on it aren't too well known outside of Australia.

I'm afraid it's your loss, though. Sorry!

Eeee. It was a *very* good episode. Pity I have heaps of university work to do and so I am prevented from re-watching Glass House so I can do the episode guide.

I'd offer to do the guide for you, but I'd try and use the entire episode *sheepish* I'm just really glad I got my VCR back off the rest of my family and managed to tape this episode! It's the first time that's happened since they started again for the new year.

I'm writing this here because I'm trying not to be too distracted by lj (because I have a major uni report to do *oops*), and I was double checking that I'd grabbed the good quotes to use in the guide ( ... )

Eee! I'm making a big, massive mark on my diary for this one ;) I hope that the ABC doesn't do too much censorship, but Andrew Denton? Dude. Love that guy.

Heee, spamming comments is so much fun. Okay. Going through the email notifications of all the comments ;)

a). the Harry icon. It'll have to be a bigamous marriage, because I'm already shagging it all over the room. <3 the icon. It sang out to me after that JK Rowling chat. Will be public when I'm finished with it ;)

b). YAY for a TV, even if you don't have SBS *sobs* Do you get to watch Alias now? YAY! Will not freak out your housemates by calling in the middle of it when daylight savings ends. Really. Enjoying going back to Bribie? And how much HotHouse crap is really there?

c). am so tempted to put that Gandalf line on a Peter-Jackson-at-the-Oscars icon. Must. Resist.

And then this post I think is the last of the spamming. Whew! Yay spamming! I'm just lazy and have to reply in one comment rather than all of them :p

I do get to watch Alias! Except the downstairs area is currently occupied, so... no Alias for me tonight. *sigh* I'll survive, right? Meh. Bribie is good; as for the Hot House, well, there's a smallish area in my suburb that's got the whole lot there. You can't get closer than 800 metres from the road and 200 metres across a canal on the other. LOL. Not very exciting.

That's all I have today. Tired and all that ;)
