does that booking include the tour that is compulsory as well? that's real steep...heh

Yup, Bhutan's really beautiful but expensive! A colleague went earlier this year & while she was raving about the beauty of the place, she definitely wasn't raving about the prices.. Everything's charged in USD & even simple handicrafts like those bejewelled trinket boxes were sold @ USD250.. Scary!
