Yay Indeed! I'm still trying to figure out the "To-Do"'s of the trip, and how long I can stay at various people's places before overstaying my welcome, and If I should go on a solo tour for a while.
Because, honestly, I don't know what I'll be DOING across the pond yet! Other than covertly checking rent costs and available jobs. You never know!
But I've just laid my hands on the totally marvellous DJD US dvd set, and have spent a happy hour or two today watching 'Ooh LaLa: Keep An Eye on Amelie' (from whence "Frida" comes), and a bit of Make or Break (bulging with old school BBC talent of a certain age, and one large teddy!)... I thought I should make best use of it. Amelie is hilarious, as only an early 70s bbc adaptation of a classic frenc farce can be.... JDJ hiding under a bed and being very naughty! Vair amusant. :D
But see, you have made it necessary for me to create my very own hifidelity icon, and I'm sitting here listening to Starmaker... This can't be good for me!
Listening to 'Starmaker', are you sobbing? :D I always thought Shakespeare would be spinnning in his grave at the Kids from Fame interpretation of 'Othello'..
Ah, that'll be why I don't recognise any of the pics then. No boxset for me until there's a R2 version - please tell me there's going to be a R2 version!

I'm assuming that some good icons could be made out of at least SOME of my icons. Even the weird ones. *grin*

Although it may just be the excitement of the day but at first I thought the 'bad girl' one was Frida from Abba!
Is it bad that I don't recognise any of those photos? Call myself a DJD fan, am rubbish!
