Ohh it passed..... :) I had some cheese on toast about an hour after posting that, which helped.... and then the hunger went away and not long after that I found out the extent of the "gastro-intestinal upset" I'd been hearing about.... which was ... shall we say... sudden and unpleasant.... :) and then I just felt that nauseous "ill" feeling for a few more hours.....
But after a night lying on the couch watching telly, and some dinner... I feel better.
I hope it's not going to take too long for my system to adjust.
In hindsight, since my body seems to respond quickly to medications... so I should have taken 1/4 the dose to start with, then worked up to the half dose I'm on now... then to full.....First time I had an antidepressant it made me into a zombie, I had to take only half my dose for a while to get my body used to it.
The tablets come with a half line, I might try taking only half tomorrow, and see if that helps.
Cutting dosage might be good, hubby is very sensitive to meds, too. I hate when he has to be sedated for anything because not only is he sensitive in the fact that they work TOO WELL, he becomes ultra-jerk;)
It was very cool that your dr was open to letting you try this even though it's not something he usually does:), I hope it helps once you are adjusted.
and sort of in that "I'm so hungry I could cry, but can't think of anything to eat" mood now.... which is how I get when I'm past hungry and on to *HUNGRY* I end up not eating, because while I'm REALLY hungry, nothing seems to make me want to actually eat it. Odd I know.
OMG, you get that too??? That happens to me any time I get past "hungry" and move on to *HUNGRY*. I hate that it happens to you, but I'm glad to know I'm not alone. :)
I just glanced at the comments... glad you're feeling better! :)
