Where is the world coming to? - big rant

I'm forever seeing parents posting "Ohh Johnny did this - the little scamp" stories, where had I done that as a kid, I'd have been ripped a new one....  I go to friends houses and the kids are jumping on couches, totally disregarding the parents telling them off.... telling parents to go away.... ignoring them.....stuff like that.

I completely agree! I imagine I would like MiniObsi whereas I don't like feral naughty kids who have been brought up the wrong way.

Yes, yes, YESSS!!!!! Amen indeed! You are absolute, totally, hitting the nail on the head. This has been my parents' story for YEARS, and it is so awesome to hear it from someone who's not a Christian. (They usually blame the bad parenting on the lack of Christianity...yeah...)

:) it just really urks me...

I can't understand why parents do stuff like complain when their kids draw on books, and have to keep all drawing things locked away so the child doesn't draw on stuff they shouldn't.... when surely it's better in the long run to just teach the kid not to draw on stuff they shouldn't.... kids aren't stupid, they can learn right from wrong - if they are taught it.
