Your parents do sound awesome! I think I'm a lot like that with my kid - I don't sweat the little stuff. I hope he turns out as well as you!

I love your user name story. It's a great name.

My son is in French Immersion now and is interested in France. I hope he gets to go someday.

Waffles. Yum!

I've been very blessed to have a charmed childhood. And thank you! That's such a nice compliment to hear.

Thanks, I'm still quite fond of it, even after all these years. I love using belle_brita, but I will always be purple_ladybug1 here.

So jealous! I would have loved to do an immersion program.

Daddy makes the best waffles, hands-down. They're super-healthy, too.

I love hearing stories of how people get their user names!

Williamsburg is awesome! I've been there four times. Once as a child, once on a class trip as a teenager, and twice with MrWheezy (2007 and 2008). Spending Christmas there would be really fun . . . ;)

I've been twice. The first time was a school trip as well! I fell in love with colonial Williamsburg during that trip, and I'm so glad I talked my parents into visiting again!

Your ideal day sounds absolutely lovely.

I'd love to be "interviewed" if you have the time!

Thanks! Depending on when I drag myself back to the States, I might have to attempt to live it. Not all my besties will be able to come (I mean, Australia and Canada are kinda far away), but even if I just had a handful of friends over, it would be pretty sweet.

Questions!

1) Why did you first get a blog?
2) Have you met any lj friends IRL, and if so, how was it?
3) What is your dream job?
4) What is the first CD you ever bought? (If you don't remember, then who was the first musical group you really liked that wasn't introduced to you by your family?)
5) If you had a $1000 to spend, but had to spend all of it on yourself, in one day, what would you buy?

Just a thought-

your ideal day sounds pretty much like what we did for your birthday two years ago, lol.

Love you :)

I've had many days/weekends like that for mine and Harry's birthday! It's always wonderful.

Describing an ideal day was actually really tricky. All the best days I've had so far have involved good friends, but never all of them. Plus most of my best days wouldn't be as special relived aka the best night of my life, my debut.

But if I could split a day between my family, me time, and all my closest friends, it would be perfect. There are locations I like better than Greenwood *coughPariscoughFurmancough* but all my besties wouldn't be as comfortable in other cities as they would be at my house.

Love you too!
