There is a downside to contract work, isn't there.

The same thing happened to me with my last job. It's a pain in the ass but you can get through it, and you'll probably do better than I have. :-)

Thanks for your support and I know I will get through it and find a better job. One that I can get paid for my holidays.

It's my birthday tomorrow and I am partying tonight so I don't have time right now to be depressed.
