But what are your thoughts on prawns?

Hmmm. I think I might like them. I should taste-test some more just to be certain. :3

Yum, prawns. I know they're supposed to be bad for you but they are my weakness ;D

I know what you mean about food being a chore. I think it comes from having to make it yourself! I generally really enjoy baking and cooking but if I'm tired, I feel so overwhelmed sometimes about having to make food. Especially when I have to make it for other people as well.

They're bad for you? Say it isn't so! :O

It's definitely part of it! I have less trouble eating things other people make; I think it's because they generally don't make the things I always make myself. I can't imagine having to cook for multiple people on a regular basis; it's definitely not easy.

Food was a bother when I was alone but now with Lynn it's usually fun to play with scent and taste. :)

Apparently it's a consensus that food is more fun when you're not alone. :3

I can definitely see it being work as well as a great pleasure - you captured it well.

Thanks! It can get pretty frustrating when my mind is telling me all these yummy things as if they're easy to get when they're not. XD

Love the opening and then how you mirror it in the closing, and then contrast it. I also like the repetition of prawns. :)

I like those microwaveable meals out of the freezer section -- the ones in that come all in a bag and you just throw it in the microwave, flip halfway through and put it back in, and then pour it into a dish. :)

At work, when I'm in a hurry, I eat soup -- pour the can into a large cup, add the water, and microwave. It's not exactly gourmet, but it's good and its filling.

I like prawns. Could you tell? :3

Oh, I should try those, thanks! I've been having the microwaveable curries, which aren't frozens, but they get tiring after a while even as easy as they are--it's something about the same-iness of the rice. I've tried soup before, though, and that doesn't tend to fill me up; usually only a couple of hours later I feel almost hungrier than I did before I ate.

Lol, I might have suspected, just a little. ;)

Ooo. I don't think we get microwaveable curries here... I've been up and down the microwave food aisle, lol, I'd have seen them. ;)

I have that problem with a lot of the water-based soups; I have to make sure whatever is in them is enough to fill me up on its own, because broth just doesn't do it.

I keep it well-hidden, don't I? ;)

Ours are in the section for 'other-culture' foods, not in the microwave section at all. XD I had to ask to figure out where they were because they weren't in the microwaveables.

Exactly. I chose some of the heartier soups to try, and they were so-so when it came to taste and still didn't quite fill me properly. I have tried to make my own soup, but I just ran into the same problem. Not sure what it is about it; maybe I just don't eat enough in one sitting because my stomach says it's full when it's not. XD
