Summary: In which Dean has flashbacks and Sam shaves his brother's face.

Written for si_star_x who gave me the prompt can't find my way home over at silverbullets.

( Sam has read his Bible and his Inferno, he even looked through a couple of Dean’s old Hellblazer comics during the months he spent trying to get him back, all of which gave him a pretty good idea. )

Omg, love this. It's quite heartbreaking.

The end is perfect with Dean's back to business and rather dismissive "Thanks, Sammy" - just two words that translated from Winchester into English would be at least half a page of long paragraphs!

This is lovely...painful and gentle and heartwarming and depressing and yet perfectly understated, in a way that's so Winchester-y.

Oh, and I too approve of this face-shaving business....I approve VERY MUCH.
