Kid just can't catch a break, you know...

I don't even know ehre Bobby came from. He was never supposed to be a part of this and then suddenly he's EVERYWHERE! I miss Bobby so much.. *sniffs*

So there was an article recently, I think on Cracked, that talked about how kids who grow up with just canned veggies can't abide the texture of fresh ones. Definitely brought that to mind on this one.

The only problem I have with this fic is that it was too short! :c But CPS stories will never not be fun, especially ones where the family are just faultless, ordinary people doing their best. And I love Bobby just slipping unnoticed into these people's house--kind of a reminder of the fact that these hunters are part of another world, and there's so much stuff going on under the Hilliard's noses--literally.

Also Sam offering to get Tylenol and not even thinking to notify an adult. Probably the most intense part of the whole tale. (Would love some insight into the Hilliard's reactions on these events!) Thanks for an interesting read!

This! I think it's the tug of the normal. That we feel that contrast between the ordinary, normal, calm, trustworthy life that is dangled before them, and the REAL life, the honest, difficult, painful, dodgy real life they have.

Or, you know. So it had me thinking. Yes!

Yeah, that does sound like something Cracked would write about. I used to read over there every single day. I'm the same way with nectarines. My grandma used to buy these canned nectarines that were drowning in sugar and give them to me as desert and to this day I can't stand the structure of the real thing.

especially ones where the family are just faultless, ordinary people doing their best.
I agree with this so much. I mean, I love it when they're monsters who are out to hurt the poor kiddos, but just from a character study perspective, it's so mcuh more interesting to look at how far removed from normal the boys really are.

Thanks so much for the awesome feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

I was just (desperately^^) trying to figure out how to post the art for one of my challenge prompts to hoodietime, when I saw that you posted something for the challenge too, and I told myself that after I had managed to post my stuff (and had some dinner^^) I´d go back to your journal, "devour" your fic and finally comment on one piece of your ingenious writing...
And here I am and - without meaning to sound like a total brown noser ;) - I absolutely loved it! It was just perfect to read, adorable and intense at the same time and made me squee and sigh occasionally ;) I´m such a sucker for the Wee!Chesters and you write them so incredibly well and just like how I imagine them!

Oooh! You posted something? I'll have to head right over to your journal and look at it. I'm so busy studying ((and procrastinating by writing fic *cough*) that I barely have time to glance over my flist these days...

Anyways, thanks for the awesome feedback. I really enjoy writing wee!chester fic. It's like building the foundation for all their later issues :P

Thanks again for taking the time and looking at my prompt fill despite you being so busy! ♥
I hope your stressful period will be over soon :)
I´m going to start at university in march and since I´m definitely planning on doing more SPN art in future I´ll probably be procrastinating school assignments by drawing "useless" fanart ;P

This is everything I love in a CPS fic <3 Sam and Dean are spot on. I love all the little details about their normal vs the Hilliards normal. Would love to see the Hilliards' side of things.

Aw, thank you so much. I don't really read much CPS fic, but this is exactly what I love about it when I do. There's all these tiny little things that are normal for every other kid, that Sam has never heared of and Dean probably prefers to not think about. Poor babies...
