Oh, your stories are like crack to me--I know they are going to be wrenching but they are so real I have to read them anyway.

Wow, thank you so much. I still have a couple of fics all lined up and ready to post before the deadline :)

Now, that's someting I call fluffy schmoop ;)

Awwwww and it's so cute. The socks and the baseball tickets Dean wanted to buy and the memories and the whiskey/tea/tylenol cure-all and John smiling and...just the two of them, somewhat content *sighs*

Perfect :)

Heh, see, I can write fluff, it's just not what most people consider fluff XD

I just finished up another christmas fic that's the exact opposite of this, so enjoy the fluff while it lasts ;)

that was sweet and sad and nice. And dammit. John was a bastard but I liked him.

Hee, I totally know what you mean. Nobody's ever going to accuse him of being father of the year, but damnit, I like him!

Man, I may spend my school break backtracking your fics. This was good.

First off, as sweet as John comes off at the end, you don’t forget the rep this guy usually has at parenting. The description of the drunken one-night stand “he insisted on calling Mary,” apparently right in front of his sons, was awful and perfect and sounded exactly like him.

It feels true to Sam, too: the contrast between the little kid who insisted they call all fellow hunters every holiday season and the furious college student who won’t even call his own family during Christmas Break. Good commentary on how much Sam’s changed and how much the family relationship has deteriorated.

Cute that they’re looking for a hunt that just happens to take them to California; sounds like that episode “Bugs,” where Dean said John would drive up there just to watch Sam from afar.

Again, good work.

Yay, you should totally do that!

This is probably the sweetest I've written John in ages. I like the guy, I really do and I know he loves his boys more than anything, but unfortunately that doesn't automatically make him a good parent.

And I love playing with Sam. How the sweet, caring kid from the flashbacks turned into the Sam from the pilot who wouldn't talk to his brother in four years...

Well, it's not like they can admit to driving to California just to check up on Sammy. No, no, it's because of this hunt that just happens to be there and hm, yeah, maybe they'll drop by Palo Alto if they find the time ;)
