Aw, I'm so glad you liked it. And I'm really glad the adult/kid thing is still working for you, because to be honest, it's all jumbled together in my mind at this point.

And Ellen is very, very awesome. She is a total mommy and she can't help but want to take care of the sad little kid, but she also figures out that he won't ever let her do it. Not really. She's Mary and John all pulled into one and it doesn't help that Dean's always been somewhat afraid of her. And he totally thinks that the only reason people suddenly seem to like him is because he looks cute and helpless and his inherent bad-ness isn't quite so obvious.

Well, I stayed up writing it way longer than I was supposed to, so there's that.

The Frown makes me giggle too. I figure some of Dean's Sam-isms would come out, now that he isn't living with John breathing down his neck.
