OH WOW. This is heartbreaking, but well within what's possible and feels real. You manage to make me ache for all of them (and I rarely ever ache for John), and OMG DEAN.

Thank you so, so much for turning my mix into something this awesome! ♥

Favorite:
John is sill watching him over the edge of his journal when Dean jumps up from the table under the window and rushes over to his brother's side. He never even bothers to glance at John on the other bed, just grabs Sam by the shoulders until they're as close to hugging as he's seen them in at least a decade. His hands are moving over Sam's back, fluid, never-ending, gentle circles. John thinks he hears him whispering low under his breath, words that aren't meant for John's ears.
Excuse me, BRB, having a moment. BOYS!

Yes. This was so real and painful. You write these characters perfectly.

Very nice. I love Dean cleaning the weapons, like they're his Lego set or his favorite toys. Comforting. The three of them all together as adults - ! *Shudder* even though they love each other.

(In ref Mary being pissed off about John letting little Dean use his power tools - that so reminded me of once looking out the window when our daughters were five years old and two and a half and seeing my husband letting them, both on roller skates, use the hatchet to chop wood. I nearly killed him.)

Oh, the weapons are totally his favorite lego set. And he's good at it!

And omg, that story about your daughters. *carefully puts coffee down before even more comes out of my nose* Men are...weird in a way I can't quite explain. xD

All right, John Winchester and now repeat after me: 'Dean, I'm so proud of you and I love you!'

So many things that broke my heart...Dean and the Impala and that his ears actually turn pink...Dean throwing himself between a fighting John and Sam...'None of them are used to covering two people's backs anymore and it was only a matter of time before Dean got too focused on watching out for both of them while nobody was watching out for him.' and Dean apologizing for not watching his own back as well.

Yeah, but you already wrote it: 'He has no idea how to talk to his son.'

Now where would be the fun in that? That sounds...healthy and like it wouldn't leave lasting scars. Who would raise their kids like that? You're weird.

Dean and the Impala and the aftermath of John's stupid comment are one of my favorite things to write about. Ever. That expression on Dean's face when Sam laughs and John just walks away just breaks my heart, every single time.

Wiesn is aus. Gott sei dank.

Wiesn is aus?
