em-effin' snakes on an em-effin' plane

I saw Snakes on a Plane tonight, and it was everything I thought it would be. Snakes! A plane! Samuel L. Jackson! And even something I didn't expect... SNAKE VISION! Anyway, it was good stuff. And not even "so bad it's good"--it was actually pretty darn good. Definitely worth spending the big theatre bucks on.

I've been reading a lot of posts from people who are saying that if you are going to see this, you need to see it early on while the crowds are still into it. Because that's a huge part of the experience. The crowd in my theater (Friday night) was pretty good, but not as good as some I've read about.

My theatre was (surprisingly) only about half-full. I was a little disappointed there weren't more people, but it was an animated enough crowd, I guess. This one guy was laughing at everything...

So did you like it?

I saw a 10:35 showing, and a 10:10 showing had started just a little bit earlier. So I guess you could say the late crowd was "diluted" a bit. I'd say the theater was about half-full, if that.

I liked it. If you go in expecting what it is -- a fairly predictable movie -- you'll be pleased and entertained. I was laughing like crazy. Wasn't sure if it would be #1 for the weekend -- and it was.

I feel pretty much the same way. I went in expecting to be slightly disappointed, actually, but I definitely wasn't.

I love that they explained everything that seemed like a loophole, so the plot was actualyl fairly decent. My favorite part, however, was who saved the day. Awesomeness.
