Things I am currently digging:

• Matt Pond PA. This band is great. Poppy, catchy rock with splashes of cello and violin. I can't stop listening to "Several Arrows Later". Thank you, The OC.
• Randall Shreve. This guy is drumming in my friend Chris' new band, but he also has a solo act. He's got a really great voice and style. If you like Rufus

I added Randall Shreve to my MySpace friends list. I'd like to catch him whenever he and I are in the same country. And he's an extra in Pirates? *swoon*

I loved Popular. Is it back on?

Glad you liked the Hipp show. I heard about it, and had my doubts. I don't think I'll end up seeing it, anyway.

Popular's not back on; I've been watching it through Netflix.

The play was good, but the sound was up super-loud and they talked fast, so it was hard to understand a lot of what they were saying (and especially singing, because the music drowned it out). Would it even still be playing when you return?

It may still be showing, I just don't make my way to the Hipp that often unless there's something/someone I really really want to see.
