"ok, jess"

People, I was a shopping fiend today. FIEND, I tell you! I was on the prowl for army pants/green cargo pants (no real luck, again) and a scrubs top (I did find that), but the planets aligned or something and I found an insane amount of clothing that actually fit and looked good. We're talking three pairs of pants (a feat that usually takes about ( Read more... )

I might. Lemme look and get back with you, but I had a pair of green army pants I'd use for woods-tromping.
And yes, Daisy's wierd.. she came outta my house, after all...

Wow, I was half-kidding, but if you had a pair that would work, I'd love you forever.

I should have known to ask you; you've provided my family with half of our belongings! ;)

Found 'em. Let's see the measurements per the tab are:
Inseam 29"
Waist 31"
I'll want them back after the show, but you're free to borrow them.

thanks! purljamber June 20 2005, 11:26:40 UTC
Those will probably work. 30" is what I've been wearing, but if these are actual army pants they'll look better than what I've found so far, even if they are a tad snug. I promise to take good care of them. :)

So the question now is when to get them? I might be able to pick them up on a lunch break this week, but other than that I don't get home from rehearsal until about 10:00 every night.

McGuinness sometimes slept in a similar position, but he'd bend and tuck his front paws back, and he looked totally...skewed! We called it the 'Roadkill.'

I've never heard of a cupcake cake! And where are the pictures of you modeling your new wardrobe?!

Sometimes Daisy does that one, too. I think I remember seeing a picture of McG doing it once...

The cake is actually called a "pull-apart cake" by the Publix bakery. It's awesome--it looks like a sheet cake but it's really cupcakes underneath. A group brought one in for a final presentation for a class I had in college and I thought it was an awesome idea, and apparently it's getting to be popular at weddings now too. I figured it would be much easier for the cast to eat cupcakes than to get plates and forks, etc.

And no one wants to see pictures of me modeling my new clothes! ( ... )

A few weeks ago I resisted the urge to post about the six pairs of shoes I bought in such a spree. Shopping is fun when I can actually find stuff I like!

You should have posted! Posting about new clothes may be a bit superficial, but it's totally worth celebrating when you find cool really stuff.

Sometimes, I find that having various appendages strewn overboard while sleeping can be quite relaxing. Then again, I'm also weird. I guess you're right. Your cat is weird.

Do you have any other choice than to have your various appendages strewn overboard while sleeping, Mr. Gangly Tall Guy?

The majority of it was from the Outreach thrift store next to Salvation Army, but some of it also came from JC Penney and Wal-Mart. I have never had that kind of luck with clothes before!

It's a shame that you just missed seeing Unfortunately Married Co-Worker today. I was trying to lure him into the store when I saw your car, but he wanted to head straight back to work. I'm surprised we even got him out of the office for lunch.

Also, we found a lighting person for M*A*S*H but still need a "lighting assistant" (i.e. mostly sound).
