001 - He has to start somewhere.

Nov 10, 2010 11:00

Who: Yuri Lowell, OPEN
When: The day he arrived here, so it's a little backdated.
Where: Finally moving out of this pamphlet-room, looking around the town, because... He doesn't know what a tram is....
What: Well, he just arrived, isn't too happy and definitely needs to find the place where he can sleep. Too bad he isn't much of a book-person to have read any of these pamphlets.
Warnings: None, I think. Except a little bit of spoilers to the game, but that's to be expected?

He stood up again, after deeming these talks on this wirst-device for either finished or not so important that he can't just walk while listening. This device would definitely be something Rita would like to see. He wouldn't be surprised if his blastia-freak of a friend would even give it a name and he doesn't just mean a description of this thing.

He moved his shoulders in a circling movement, trying to get them to relax a bit more. Since waking up on the floor below, he hadn't felt that good. His head still hurt, he felt stiff and his movement was limited. This was absolutely not in his favour. True. He liked to laze around every now and than, but that didn't mean he wanted to lie around because he couldn't move correctly. He was a fighter and it usually meant death if they couldn't move according to their fighting style.

His shoulders and some other parts of his body made some cracking noises, making him grimace at the sound. Well, he would definitely need something more to relax his muscles again and maybe some training if this keeps going. He hoped not.

Walking to the only door of the room, he looked just slightly back to all these pamphlets, before shrugging and moving on. Books and anything remotely connected with something written down weren't his speciality. Actually. He prefered not to touch them, because most of the time, they were absolutely boring. He was more of a learning-by-doing sort of guy. It was always better than strict theory. This was definitely something Flynn or Estelle were better in than him. Not that he minded, since in the end, both of them would just dictate him the most important parts of the book, in hope it would help them somehow.

Oh. He really should have read at least one of them to actually understand something about this world, but it's just his kind of bad judgment there.

In his mind, he had other things to worry about. Like, how had he gotten here and how could he get back to his world? It was just his luck to end up in an entirely other world, just by falling down a stupid tower because his best friends greatest fan deemed him unworthy and wanted to kill him. Not that he could blame her. With what he had done already, he really wasn't worthy to be his friend, but why going to such drastic measurements?

He sighed.

Well, he would find out if he managed to get back to where he belonged. He didn't believe that his memories were just dreams. That just couldn't be true and he would see through it. New adventures were good, but he still remembered the looming Adephagos above their heads before falling. He would need to get back to at least try and destroy them, somehow...

He nearly stopped right behind the door again, when he finally looked around and registered his surroundings. Well, that was certainly even newer to him. The structure of this building was definitely different than he remembered from his dreams... err... memories. He didn't remember ever seeing something like that, especially not a giant metallic thing when he finally moved on and looked around. What the hell was that? The dark haired man looked around for any explanation, before actually reading some of the signs.

Tram? What was a tram?

This world definitely was weird, if that wrist-thing one seemingly could communicate with, wasn't indication enough already. It could be useful actually, then he wouldn't had needed to run after his best friend, because he always seemed to move forward again just to spite him. At least he still had his blastia and sword with him. He wouldn't feel good without them in a different world.

Yuri moved out of the station, ignoring the tram for the time being and enjoying the little bit of sun outside. He would like to see a little more of this town he had ended up in. Boston, was it? Well, anyway, it was time to explore a little more. Maybe he found some place to stay as well? It's not like it was anything new to him to actually sleep out in the open, but he didn't have any tent with him and since he was in a city, there should be an inn around somewhere. He would just need to find it.

Well, if he'd just taken the tram, then everything would be over already... but where was the fun in that, right?
