H-hey, are you okay?

Poor Fuuka just thinks this is totally normal. Although it can't be seen, she shakes her head no at Minato's words. "It's the fog. I can't say why, but it's messing with my powers..." Pause.

"It's fine." More like, well, interference. As if in proof, have some Healing Wave to do... uh, heal 5% of your HP, or, you know, scab up a single one of your cuts, or something.

Minato can feel that, you. And with a bit of a shiver he raises his shoulders to his ears as he tries to adjust to the energy coursing through him. And then he feels an itch... Looking down at the back of his hand, he watches as a cut closes and leaves nothing but, of course, that itchy feeling of a scab further healing. "...I see. If you feel as though you can, then I'm ready. But I may still need to go to the hospital. I haven't had anything to drink, or eat. I feel sick."

The boy casts a sideways glance to Naoto and tries not to crack a smile. Minato had been so used to this kind of thing, it slipped his mind easily that this wasn't normal for everyone. "Naoto," He grips a little at the man's shirt where he holds himself steady. "It's Fuuka-chan, from the police station. She'll get us out of this fog."

"It's Yamagishi-san?" That's good. She seemed nice. If Minato trusts her, Naoto is willing to do so. Especially in this fog-- god, they really need all the help they can get. He was lucky to be so close when he saw Minato's message...

He nods, then ponders something for a while. Can he just speak aloud and she'll hear them? "Uh, Yamagishi-san? Thanks. For uh-- your help. Do you know where we should go now?" He hopes he's not crossing any telepathy boundaries here.

It's good he did speak aloud; she can't hear thoughts. "Yes. If you head two blocks..." Wait. With the fog as it is... She falters briefly. "How far ahead can you see?" She's not sure how specific she needs to be.

Yamagishi-san. Right. Naoto was a cop right now, not his friend off duty. Serizawa-san. He nods his head and watches him as he starts to address Fuuka himself. Naoto seems unsure about it, but Minato nods again, a silent confirmation that he's got the hang of it.

How far could they see. That was a good question... Minato couldn't see as well usual in his state, but from what he can gather, it was thick enough to hide a street from a couple buildings away. "...I'm guessing about a half a block, but my vision isn't at its best right now."

s-sorry for the delay, guys naoto_rennt September 11 2009, 19:39:07 UTC
He lets out a small breath of relief at Minato's confirmation, then squints himself.

"I'm at half a block too. It's pretty bad. Please be as specific as you can, Yamagishi-san," he adds, almost as an afterthought, trying not to pressure her too much.

The lack of visibility makes it more difficult. She can see through the fog, but not visually-it's more of a sense of where things are in proportion to one another. She's not even sure of the street names.

"Try heading two blocks ... um, straight?"
