It took a while for Shikamaru to get to the hospital--he didn't have kage bunshin that would enable him to find it, but he had wandered around and read enough to give him some vague idea of where to search for it.

As he arrived, he approached slowly and with caution. He hid in the shadows, which would increase his chances of being able to attack, and he quickly analyzed the situation. Mendokusee naa...

'What the heck were those things?' Sakura wondered. Some sort of shadow clone? Needless to say, she was not too happy that they had showed up. Figured though that Sasori would make another fight for him. After all, he was a puppet master, only pulling the strings. All she and they actually, needed to do, was hit that vial of his... Yet, how easy that would be, Sakura did not know.

"Plebians my ass! Come say that to my fist, you prissy bitch!"

Shikamaru tried to sneak over without being detected--if he could just get in close enough, he could extend his shadows and capture Sasori and Suzaku, even for a short while. He knew that he had enough chakra to do it, but he wasn't sure how much more chakra Sasori had. Nor did he know the extent of Suzaku's powers or whether he could resist the Kagemane no Jutsu.

Sasori glanced about, taking in Naruto, Shikamaru, Misao, Sakura. He knew of Naruto's capabilities, naturally. He knew Sakura knew of his plug. He knew Misao was a little idiot. He knew Shikamaru was a strategist - he had pilfered all of the files on Naruto's graduating class. In Shikamaru he saw his challenge.

Nara Shikamaru, of the Nara clan, specializing in shadows and deer. Shadows touch and control. Dangerous if used properly. Time limit. Unactivated if user is moved.The words, in his own hand writing, flashed across Sasori's mind as he looked at the boy. He had seen him at Misao's party, but thought very little of him. Now all of his dangerous interest was on the poor boy

Murugu had been taking a nap so it was now that she flew in to find her master and Sasori. And there was the girl who hurt her wing! The bird squawked loudly as she hovered nearly, grinning. Suzaku-sama was using his amazing attack that made the victim scream in pain! Delightful!!!

"Suzaku-sama!" she squawked happily, looking pleased.
