Michel's approach was heralded by heavy footfalls rolling down the stairs at a breakneck pace. As he closed in on the bottom, finally sighting Tieria, He veered towards the edge of the stairwell, making a running leap off the side.

The sniper landed in a roll, clutching the bullpup automatic rifle he was carrying to his chest. Without missing a beat, Michel was on his feet and closing the distance between himself and the meister, trading his weapon for a shoulder-slung first-aid kit.

"Deculture... What the HELL got to you?!"

A soft laugh issued from the blond sniper and he grinned, though his companion may not have been at a vantage point to see it.

"Yeah, it really wasn't. But you'll live, and with luck, be wiser for the experience. 'To err is human' after all~"

Tieria couldn't help but chuckle a bit at that. "I... suppose... that's true." He was starting to get dizzy again, and closed his eyes.

"... I..." He started to say something, and closed his mouth. He wasn't thinking clearly. He gave another hiss of pain and bit his lip to keep his mouth shut.

"Hey now, don't clam up on me back there. Keep talking so I know you're alright."

Michel cocked his head to one side, just enough to let him get one eye on Tieria's weary face.

"Sorry the ride's so rough, but just try to endure it. I'm doing as best I can to ride the line between speed and not making your wound any worse."

Tieria sighed, and chuckled a little. "I'm... glad it was you who came to get me. In truth... I would like to think you care about me. I do... care about you."

His brain was screaming at him to shut up, but his mouth wasn't listening, apparently.

Michel gave a half-laugh, interupted by a deep breath as he shifted Tieria on his back.

"Of course. If I wasn't worried about you, you think I would have busted my ass to get out here so fast?"

Tieria smiled a little vaguely, and gripped Michel's shoulder a little harder. "I... my apologies. So tired... how much further is it?"

The sniper's gaze turned upwards- there was still a good distance to the top of the stairs, and even further to either Celestial Being's home, or the clinic, and light though Tieria was, progress would be slow.

"Heh, not much further. And unless you were wrong about that thing being unable to take to the stairs, we should be fine~"

"Good..." Tieria responded sleepily, yawning. "I... feel very tired all of a sudden. I think the adrenaline is wearing off..."

Michel shook Tieria gently, a look of concern spreading fast across his face.

"Hey, hey now. none of that. Your job is to stay awake until we can get you help, got it?!"

Tieria forced himself to open his eyes. "Yes... of course. My apologies. I... am unsure of what else to talk about..."

Michel quickened his pace, pushing himself to clear the last portion of the stairs as quickly as possible.

"It doesn't really matter, as long as it keeps you conscious. Hell, you can try to explain your filing system to me if you think it'll help."

"Hah... the coding for the filing system is actually quite simple. Or at least the explanation for the number I use to sign my paperwork is."

Tieria took a deep breath, and continued. "The first three numbers are zeros in case another variable needs to be added. The second three is the generation of Gundam Meisters that I was recruited for - the third generation. The next four numbers stand for which number document the current form is, and the last two are for the number of the call number of my original Gundam. However, Nadleeh usually was covered by armor and called 'Virtue', therefore there are two numbers."

Michel nodded politely, as Tieria went over the minutiae of his system, letting the explanation drown out any of his own thoughts about how much further they had to go, even now that they had made it to the top of the stairs. Instead, his legs moved of their own accord, carrying them almost automatically closer to their home.

"Alright, how're you doing back there- little more comfortable now that we're on level ground, at least?"

"Yes. I am. I am just struggling to stay awake still." He struggled to think of what else to talk about, but Tieria knew he wasn't very good at idle chatter.

"This will most likely take a while to heal, I am assuming. Aggravating..." He knew full well that there were some in this place with healing spells, but he was still a bit wary of such things.

Michel exhaled heavily as he turned the corner of one of the upper level's streets. It was easier now, save for all the energy he had expended on the trek up from the lower level, but part of him started to wonder if they'd be able to make it home without a break somewhere. He was trying to avoid wasting any more time than necessary, but began keeping his eyes open for any sign of a safe building with a terminal to hide out in.

"Yeah, you're doing good though. Just keep talking with me... just saying whatever's on your mind will do."
