Aiyiyi. It was nights like these that Sheena was exceedingly grateful to her mentors in Mizuho for drilling the ninja arts so insistantly into her cranium. With all her senses stretched to the fullest, she had managed to anticipate and avoid the occasional wandering creature; although her limp from a prior accident had slowed her down a bit. For the most part the district was mercifully quiet ( ... )

His head just tilted into the direction, in which his name had been yelled. ...The yelling he could do without, but at least it clarified where the ninja had come from. Hands lightly shifted into his pockets, to escape from the cold air of the shifting seasons. Perhaps once he got a bit more money together he would comission some better cloths for the harsh season from Nathan.

"...Evening." The monotone teen faintly replied.

Normally, night would seem like a more dangerous time to explore. Thankfully, his pure aura tended to keep away most of the impure creatures, even if he didn't exactly understand it himself.

"...Seems you didn't become a monster's dinner." He teased, in well his own unique way. He wasn't very good at normal humor, but it was jsut how the blunt teen worked.

Considering the boy with a faint smirk on her face, she lowered her arm and inclined her head in what she guessed would be an appropriately polite greeting. Never could tell what was okay or offensive with other cultures... heck, she got cuffed upside the head once as a kid for a fiasco like that. If she remembered correctly, her sensei had wicked smacking-around-power for an old guy with a cane.

"Ah, well... you know. Ninjas are stringy fare for the night beasties. If anything, they'll go for you and completely ignore me."

She replied cheerily as she approached, steps slightly syncopated due to her limp. Doumeki's humor almost reminded her of a cross between Regal and Kratos, to tell the truth. Must a guy thing to need to speak in monotones to keep that 'ooooo, I'm mysterious~!' appearance going. But then again people were rarely fooled by that sort of thing anymore. Three quarters of the 'mysterious guy' population probably shrieked like little girls when confronted with a spider.

Not exactly sure at why she mimiced his head tilt, he just sort of shrugged the idea off. Shifting back to its noromal position from it's incline. Maybe it was some custom from her world, or she was just as confused as he was.

"Unlikely." He vaguely responded, not feeling the need to really elaborate.

Merely watching her approach he noiced her limp. "...Not very graceful for a ninja are you?" He casually taunted. He didn't speak like this to be popular, it was just how his personality was shaped.
