Who: Sumeragi, Allelujah, Kyrios the kitten When: Sometime today Where: CBHaus? Rating: PG Warnings: None Summary: Hanging out with a cat and talking about this and that. Bonding time, and this time it's even without alcohol.
Kyrios had, it had seemed, taken up a habit he had tried once when Grimmjow was visiting. One that nearly got him thrown into a wall, had Hallelujah not interfered and caught the cat. To see the hole in Michel's chest was unnerving to say the least, but he figured it had to do with people getting affected due to their sins. So far, all he himself had were the words on his forehead, but...
Either way, he had gotten his kitten (though not after a small struggle). It was a short distraction to get his mind off of things. He had gotten over the worst of it, his small mental breakdown in the middle of the night, but there was still a lingering depression and anxiety over the entire situation.
Right. Maybe a nap was good. He was heading back to his room when he noticed Sumeragi, and stopped to give her a small smile. "Hey. What're you up to?"
"Nothing, really," she answered when her eyes wandered to the cat and she wondered for a moment just how obsessed the Meisters were with their Gundams to name their pets after them. She knew about the rabbit, Exia, though that was something she had expected coming from Setsuna. But the others... At least the dog was named, well, Veda. Not that that was any better.
"You just realize there's nothing much to do when the alcohol is gone. I'm really starting to regret asking you to take it."
She smiled a little before studying the young man. It was easy to see that he was still thinking--too much probably--, but not knowing how much she was allowed to ask and know made her hesitant to say anything about it. She never talked about her worries either and she probably wouldn't even if asked; it must have been the same for Allelujah.
"Trust me, I'm regretting having locked it all away. But if I have to suffer, so do you." He shook his head with a quirk of a smile. "If you're not up to anything, we can sit around for a little while. Talking's better than just sitting by yourself alone and getting too lost in thought."
Right now, he just need a distraction from his own worries.
"Great minds think alike," she answered with a smile just as she reached out to tentatively poke Kyrios, the presence of the kitten sort of making things look a little brighter.
"We should go to your room... or wherever you stored the drinks. Not that I would try to take them while you're distracted."
She looked back at Allelujah and paused for a moment. This would be the second time they got together just to talk.. or actually, the third. Once, on the Ptolemy, after that one mission... then when Setsuna disappeared, and now... Even if they never managed to solve their problems, the talking had always helped in some way. And it seemed they always ran into each other when they had something on their mind.
