L didn't take long to arrive. His poor posture, untied shoes, and sloppy dress were something that he exclusively had. He was easily identified in a crowd. The dark circles were enough to tell anyone that he didn't sleep (and had, in fact, made Gale worry about the amount of rest the detective had gotten). He hesitated, not able to recognize any human shapes, but noted another.

He paused, stopping near the river, and looking around. He didn't want to approach right away, so he had a few moments hesitation before continuing towards the figure.

"I am curious as to if you are Wiskay that I had spoken to over the devices. I am Ryuuzaki."

Wiskay heard L coming long before he came into sight. He stopped and sat down, trying to look as nonthreatoning as possible. As the human spoke up he turned to look at him. "Yes, I'm Wiskay. I my appearance hasn't put you off too much." He grinned a bit and stood up, pawing over to the other. "Ryuuzaki...it is nice to meet you in person as well."

"I was not expecting a human," L said, though his instincts had forced him to look for one. "You mentioned you were a digital being." He pinched his fingers together in thought in front of himself, then brought his hands to his mouth. "I am pleased to meet you. I do trust you have questions you planned on asking me pertaining to Kira." It was indeed safer to discuss this matter in person, and he was not shy about telling his opinion of Kira or what Kira was, but perhaps not calling Light Kira was a good idea.

"Good. I was right in assuming you were intelligent, then.
"I am a digimon--a digital monster. It is, however, not important at the moment. If you care to, I posted something in my journal awhile ago explaining the basics of it." Wiskay circled L (because that's so much easier to type that 'Ryuuzaki') once before sitting before him.
"Kira, yes. I am interested in this. That girl, Misa, is connected is she not? I do recall something called a 'Death Note' being...heh...mentioned. Is that connected as well?"
