Makubex was sitting at the counter, looking over the records from the past couple days. He was covered in bandages and smelled sickly-sweet, thanks to Juubei's remedies. When Watanuki entered, he looked up and smiled.

"Right here, Kimihiro."

As soon as he saw Makubex at the counter, Watanuki walked over and did something he had been wanting to do for a while now: he gave Makubex a big hug.

Makubex hissed in pain, but soon returned the hug tightly. "I'm sorry."

Watanuki heard that, but at that point he didn't care. He just wanted to hold onto Makubex and never let go. "You scared me so much in the last few days."
