Gold spreads across the ground halting in a circular pattern. Lines connected quickly, runes or some ancient writing decorating each as they all joined. From the centre of it rose a figure dressed in black. When his feet touched the ground, the circle faded into nothingness.

It wasn't exactly the sneakiest sort of teleportation out there.

The creature that stood there looking around was taller than Schuldig, more Axel's height and size. His hair was blond though, wound in a braid that went to his waist. From beneath the rim of his hat, the demon's red and blue eyes moved over the landscape. Unlike Wesker's, Yuber's red eye didn't glow per se, but there was the slightest brightness of it, one that the mind could dismiss. Usually.

Little wonder Axel was so damned random and uncontrollable when he came from a creature like this.

Zexion could smell him coming. He stood calmly with arms folded over his chest, studying the runes as the pattern connected before the demon arrived. The scent of him was...distracting. For reasons Zexion could not remotely fathom, he wanted to touch it, to run a gloved hand down the braid. But Zexion did not touch. He did not want to touch anyone. And control was something he had in abundance.

The schemer merely looked at the stranger who was not when he materialised, sight not the only sense taking him in, getting a feel for him.

"A bit showy, don't you think?"

Yuber's laughter was different from his human form's although it was still jagged and biting, there was a hint of malice in it. It was the sound a person who thought acid in a squirting daisy was hilarous would make. His twin rapiers were withdrawn and spun in his hands, the metal whickering in the air in an eerie copy of the sound Axel's chakram made.

The demon's laughter cut off as if with a knife, the blades stilling and held at his sides. "No, if I had showed up doing that and laughing like that, then it would have been 'a bit showy'. Our teleportation is different from yours."

Turning away from Zexion, the demon gazed up at the school. Not exactly the best of places. It had the feel of a battle about to go very bad to Yuber, one where Order would throw him and his beloved Chaos back into imprisonment for another three hundred or so years. It felt bad. His rapiers turned a slow circle on one side and then the other, the only sign of restlessness that he showed just yet.

"What are we looking for in there?"

Being the sort of person who would be amused by acid in a squirting daisy, Zexion was not disturbed by the sound of the demon's laughter, though he rarely indulged himself. The similarity to Number 8's weapons was noted, the rapiers themselves subtly studied as Zexion observed all weapons, going over in his mind whether this was a weapon he would care to replicate in battle if the need ever arose. Blades were much more to his taste than raw fire
