Marron had remained good to his word to Tarei and had taken it easy since waking up. He made sure his arm healed without complication and was using the time to study out of some of his thicker books.

But that was set aside when she entered his room and he carefully closed the thick book that rested in his lap. He wore a loose white robe, the bandage wrapped around his arm could be seen on one arm.
He did not have to ask what she was here for, he had been preparing what he was going to say to her all day.

"This might be a rather long explanation..." he started, gesturing towards the empty chair in the room.

The kitsune nodded, as she walked over towards the seat that was offered to her. She slowly made her way towards it, and grabbing the chair, she turned it around so she would be able to sit facing him. The kitsune youkai sat down on the chair with her hands folded neatly on her lap as she glanced over at his injured arm ( ... )

"No, it would be difficult to do so," Marron nodded. He knew that it went without being said that what he was about to tell her was to be held in confidence but he did trust her.

"Kurama...the other that you took from the shrine, has the shadow of a demon in him, a youko. Sealing the youko...did not go as I had expected," the mystic said, his grasp on the book in his hands tight. Marron was not pleased that he had not been more prepared for that fight but next time...

"Indeed," the fox replied with her small reply, and allowed the young man to continue his speech without another word from her pale lips. She had no reason to tell anyone else anything, and she already knew whatever was told within this vicinity shall stay in this vicinity. Perhaps the young mage had trusted her too much, much more than she had ever trusted him to begin with, but she would not reject trust that was given.

So that's how he looks like, the youkai thought to herself recalling her conversation a while back with a young man, who claimed himself to be this 'Kurama' Marron was speaking about. She assumed he was the only one, seeing she doubt there were many with that same name. A youkai was it? So he wasn't human either. A youko...she had heard that word once or twice before, but did not know exactly what a youko truly was. The young man took on a dangerous task, sealing a shadow of a demon within a shrine. It sort of clicked together in a way ( ... )

"A kitsune demon..." Marron closed his eyes. Her words were harsh but true. He had taken precautions but in the end they were not enough.

"Yes. I failed to predict exactly what sealing the demon would entail- demons from my world are not as powerful but mere puppets..." he said thoughtfully.

"Though it was not a miracle I survived, it was fortunate but I do not wish to count on such a thing again."
