She was skipping about humming a song in her child-like voice as she passed by the clock tower, and noticed tha someone was standing there, looking at it and not moving from it. Rin was curious to what was wrong, so she stopped midway, and started towards the stranger. Rin had a habit of befriending almost anyone, and as long as they were nice to her, she was fine with it. Sesshoumaru ought to teach the young child not to talk to strangers too much.

"Um, excuse me little girl," Haruhi said. "Are you lost?"

"Me?" she inquired with a blank look before replying to the girl, seeing that she was the only one there, "Nope, not at all! Onee-san seems lost or confused though," the girl added with a rather curious look.

And Bulls eye, too!
A cloth lump hit Haruhi square in the back. Not hard enough to hurt her at all, but hard enough to get her attention.
"Nee, Haruhi~!" called that voice. Single, sadly. Hikaru didn't lie when he was saying Kaoru was at home mending trousers... The twins really did have a run-in with Purgatorium's local Nessie. But this half of the twinship came immediately to Haruhi's "rescue."
He didn't know who Rin was. But ever since his first and last conversation with Sasori, Hikaru was wary of Purgatorium's inhabitants. He liked his Natural Types intact and healthy, particularly.
The gingerhead waved obnoxiously as he called her out, grinning mischiviously from ear to ear.

"Anou, Haruhi-onee-san, is this onii-chan one of your friends?" the girl asked curiously, with a small smile.
