Well. Medea had to admit, that wasn't precisely the most graceful way she had ever been called, but--it was a lot better than how many others invoked her in Purgatorium; it lacked the angry, foul language and threats she usually found. And that was a definite plus.

... besides, she was rather bored as of late and she knew that this child, Sora, would not disappoint her interests.

So, she decided to answer his call.

"Hello~~."

Sora startled a little, grip firm on the keyblade, and he stared at Medea with wide eyes until he overcame his initial surprise.

"Uhm..." Say something smart! "...Hi~" ...Good job, Sora.

He ran a hand back through his hair and shuffled a few steps closer to her. It was habit for him to look a person in the eyes when he spoke to them, though he wondered if that would offend a God -- but, well, he did it anyway.

"I'm Sora." As though she didn't already know that. "And... I was hoping I could ask a favor."

Medea gave Sora a smile as she watched him approach, something in her gaze suggesting amusement. (There were various reasons for that, really.)

"Hello, precious child~," she responded, her tone warm. She inclined her head slightly, as though she was already in great contemplation. "What is it you would ask of me~?"

He lowered his gaze for a moment to the keyblade in his hand, frowned, and looked to Medea again, determination in his eyes.

"You see, ma'am," he began, "ever since I showed up here, none of my powers work. Like... my keyblade. You guys seal the magic here, right? But-" how to word this? "...I'm scared, because without my powers, there's no way for me to protect my friends. And I want to do that."

No, rephrase.

"I need to do that."
